Our Work...
Story Hill Farm has planted over 10 acres in wildflower meadows for pollinators. From native annuals and perennial grasses and flowers to annual meadows and perennial meadows. In 2022 we began working with demonstration gardens for herbs and edible flowers as well as a mini pop-up meadow that anyone can plant in their backyards. 2023 plans include a pollinator friendly cut flower garden, a 10,000 sq foot lawn to meadow conversion and an expansion of our backyard herbs into a permaculture version of small plot high yield. We've introduced our custom seed mix that works here on the coastal plain and hope to convert more garden beds from non-native to native ecologically minded plantings.

2022 Herb gardens are great for pollinators and easy to grow and many folks don't realize you can eat flowers! This is a wonderful hands on tour where we pick, taste and enjoy the fragrances as we go.
